Is it true that Gold fish dont like to live in an….?

Is it true that Gold fish dont like to live in an aquarium with lots of accesories like fake plants
becuase when i set up my aquarium for my goldfish i had over 5 differnt fake plants (living in a 6 gallon tank) (yea yea i know u have to have 10 gallons for one gold fish but i only have one fish living in it and he’s been very health, i have changed the water ever week to, so statistics arent always right. If u treat ur goldfish and water right then its all gooooood)
So do goldfish like to have plants and stuff like that or do they like more of an open aquarium?

Should i let my son get a ball python (Father speaking)!?

I am bowlingking92’s father and he is wanting a snake. He is a bright child but also has a very good social life. He is a sophmore in high school, carrying a 4.1 GPA, taking 3 honors classes and AP World History, is in the Latin club and Science club, and is wanting a snake. I am not sure if i should let him. He has the money to pay for the aquarium, accesories, snake, food, and everything but all i have to do is take him to petco. He has two dogs (a pit bull/lab mix and a miniature dachshund [which will not get housetrained, he is almost 5 months though]. (Do dogs get afraid if they smell reptile in the room?) He can pay for everything and is responsible when it comes to his own stuff but sometimes is lazy when it comes to others things. I do not like snakes but he can keep it in his room.

What all does he need?
How much does food cost? What should he feed it and how often should he feed it?
Do colleges allow snakes in dorms because he will be going to college soon?

Sand in a leopard gecko aquarium?

I am an experienced owner of a skink and bearded dragon for years, I had to move provinces and give the beardie away, i now have a 20 gallon aquarium with lights climbing sticks basking rocks and green reptile carpet and all the other accesories. i was wondering if i could put red sand in the tank for the leopard gecko or do they have problems with it? I have not bought the gecko yet. any advice is apreciated, Thanks.
